Hi, I’m Ally — knitter, crocheter, reader, solo mom, board game enthusiast, and professional collector of far too many project bags.
I started KnittyAndNerdy as a cozy little corner of the internet to share my WIPs, finished objects, crafty chaos, bookish obsessions, and the occasional life ramble. Around here, there’s a good chance you’ll find yarn in every room, at least three active projects at any given time, and a growing stack of books waiting to be read.
I love whimsical things, cozy spaces, colorful yarn, and the kind of hobbies that somehow require both spreadsheets and absolute chaos. I’m equally happy curled up with a knitting project, gathered around a table for board game night, or wandering a yarn shop convincing myself I absolutely need one more skein.
When I’m not crafting, I’m usually teaching, reading, attempting to organize my life, or convincing myself that buying more yarn and project bags is definitely part of the creative process.
